Week #16 - Feeling patriotic

This week's template is geared towards the American War Machine in WW2.  The idea behind this is to mix and match.  Create your own patterns out of what I've given you to use.  I did a hand grenade pattern early on on RCTech and the P-51 pattern below should give you a idea of what I'm talking about.

Week #15 - ON VACATION

OK this week I'm on vacation.  I'm going Mtn.Biking in Fruita Colorado if anyone would like to join me. Spending most of the week there camping, riding, drinking beer and riding more.  So instead of just leaving you high and dry I thought I'd post a handy link.  VectorVault

Week #14 - Fade away

This weeks template is sponsored by Polaroid.  If you can't keep up, just fade away.  Ok enough with the funny.  This isn't anything ground breaking but I hope it can save you guys some time.  Please don't limit your self to what I've put on this template.  Pull off pieces and play with stretching and sizing these.  There's a lot of different uses out there.

Week #12 - Diamond Tread

Simple pattern that I'm guessing will get used a ton.  To get the best effect you'll want to use three colors for this.  Three differing shades of gray would work good OR three shades of tinted metallic flake would work great.  Hell...maroon, red and pink would be great for that Hello Kitty short course truck you've been wanting to paint.

Week #10 - Snakeskin

Living in the mid-west all my life I've had plenty of run in's with these critters.  We have them in every shape and size.  I figured this would be a good pattern to add some depth to certain sections of a body.  Love to see what you turn out.

Week #9 - Gator

I was going to do a whole template on skins of different sorts but then this one got rather long.  So I ended up doing it only on the alligator.  Other animal skins to follow I'm sure.

This week is Bricks.  Pretty basic I know but I have my reasons.  While they are pretty basic, they are also very useful.

Week #7 - Celtic/Nordic

Week #6 Pipes.  I'm not sure if this one is going to work or not.  I like the idea and I have the concept in my head of how the mask SHOULD work.  I will hopefully have a working airbrush showing up today and start testing templates out.  I'll leave the sketch up as reference for shading on the vector art.

Week #5 - I See Stars

This one was a lot tougher then I thought it would be.  Please take into account that you should be able to easily re-size these stars to different size's and rotate them to make your own patterns.  I think I'll try and put another sheet together later on in the week.  More patterns then stars thou.

Week #4 - Treads

By request from RCTech.  Here's some vector tire treads for you.  I'm afraid the weeding of these will be somewhat of a nightmare.  However they could look pretty cool as well.  Let me know if there's any problems.

Week #3 - Splatter

One of my son's wanted a "muddy" paint job.  So I made up these splatter templates for the hood and sides of the truck.  I've also posted a photoshopped body of what it might look like if someone used the patterns.  I tried to keep the weeding down to a minimum.

Week #2 is Drips.  I tried to make something a little different then the norm.  More to come later on this week so check back and see if this post has updated.  Drips #1 changed this morning.  I liked the idea but not the over all look.  I like these much better.  Let me know if there's any problems.
